Meeting the Rector of St. Francis of Assisi, Anglican Parish of Moroka:
The Revd. Fr. Molefi Olifant
I am married to Keke. We have two young kids, Rethabile our first born son and Oratile our baby girl. We are very special knit family with strong family values.
Made Deacon 16 December 1998 and a year later, 16 December 1999, ordained to the Prieshood, at St. Georges Cathedral in the Diocese of Cape Town. I joined the Diocese of johannesburg as a non-stipendiary Priest working in a corporate space. Later on was encouraged to consider a return to the stipendiary ministry. Which I considered over time and prayerfully accepted it.
I graduated with a Diploma in Theology at the College of Transfiguration, an Anglican Seminary, in Grahamstown. I, then proceeded to University of Stellenbosch to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology and continued to complete Masters of Theology in Community Development.
Due to my corporate work exposure, I went to study and complete a Postgraduate diploma at Regenesys School of Public Management in Public Management. After which I was accepted to Wits School of Governance to pursue the current qualification in Master of Manangement in the field of Public and Development Management.
